The Barbreck Wellbeing Festival, held on Wednesday 19 June, was an outstanding success, enjoyed by our students. Throughout the day, the girls enthusiastically participated in a wide range of activities, showcasing their skills, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

The girls dressed in casual clothes with a touch of pink to support the Breast Cancer Network Australia. We thank parents for also supporting this very important charity.

The girls thoroughly enjoyed the whole-school dance routines that kicked off the morning’s activities. Student creativity was on full display during:

  • Bracelet Making
  • Board Games and Puzzles
  • STEM Activity – Tallest Paper Tower
  • Craft activities
  • Origami/Paper Folding
  • Yoga

The day culminated with an afternoon dedicated to fitness and sports, further promoting physical health and camaraderie among the students.

The Festival fostered a strong sense of community, with parents joining in the morning and everyone enjoying a delicious breakfast and sausage sizzle lunch.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Barbreck staff whose tireless efforts made this event possible. Their dedication and commitment created a memorable experience for our students. Congratulations to all the students for their active participation and achievements during the day.

Today marks my final day working at St Catherine’s School.

After seven and a half fantastic years, I have decided to spend more time with my own young children and pursue other opportunities. I have been blessed to have taught so many fantastic students and to have met so many wonderful families over the years.

St Catherine’s is a special community, and I will miss being part of it on a daily basis.

I wish everyone well for the future, and over the upcoming break. I encourage everyone to rest, recharge, and cherish special moments with their loved ones.
