What do you enjoy about teaching Chemistry?
As a Chemistry Teacher, you can foster creativity, critical thinking skills and a love of science in your students. Students begin to explore future pathways and their engagement in your subject can influence their tertiary choices and the changes that they can bring about into the future.
What advice do you have for students preparing for VCE?
Organisation, keeping up to date and seeking assistance are key. When you are unsure or need further clarification about your subject then you should immediately meet with your teacher. Resolving misunderstandings early will improve not only your performance but your confidence.
Do you have a final message for the Class of 2022?
The final message I always delivery to my students is a quote by R. Brault:
“Try to discover the road to success and you’ll seek but never find; but blaze your own path and the road to success will trail right behind.”
