District Cross Country

It was a cold and wet day for our dedicated Cross Country runners at Kooyong Park on Friday 11 May. The true St Catherine’s spirit was on display as our students splashed through the puddles to finish in sixth place overall and narrowly missed winning the population trophy.

Year 4 student, Emma Peele was our best placed individual with a fantastic second place, ensuring a position in the Division One team at Bald Hill Reserve.

It was great to see all our runners dig deep in the muddy conditions and run proudly for their School.

Important Reminders

Don’t be slow if you are booking in for the House Snowsports weekend on Sat 21 July and Sunday 22nd. It is a popular weekend for our Snowsports families so make sure you register through mystcatherines here.

Davis are House Soccer champions for 2018!

In a closely fought game it was Sarah Fanning who broke the deadlock with a timely strike. Davis were well served by their two goal keepers Sophia Atkins and Elisa Wang whilst Arabella Bertalli was busy in the midfield.

Beaulieu were runners up Langley Templeton third and Holmes Kilbride fourth. The overall points score is beginning to get interesting with House Gymnastics to come at the end of the Term.

Langley Templeton 170
Holmes Kilbride 120
