House Athletics
On Thursday 10 November Barbreck girls enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Kooyong Park for the annual House Athletics.
All students from Years 3 to 6 took part in sprint and long distance races on a fantastic grass track.
All girls had the opportunity to select a field event and a hurdle race if they wished.
The final standings were:
First Place: Davis 423 points
Second Place: Langley Templeton 394 points
Third Place: Holmes Kilbride 387 points
Fourth Place: Beaulieu Blair 340 points

Year 6 Bike Education
After honing their bike skills for two weeks at School the Year 6 girls ventured to Kevin Bartlett Reserve last week for an extended tour.
The girls tackled steep climbs, narrow single tracks and completed a duathlon (run and bike race) before riding the “col du Heyington” on return to St Catherine’s.
Next week sees a similar format with the addition of some Yarra River bike trails.
