We are incredibly proud of our graduating Year 12 students and all they have accomplished throughout the year, and their amazing 2025 VCE Results. Their dedication, resilience, and growth have been truly inspiring.
We hear from a selection of students as they reflect on their time at St Catherine’s. They share their highlights, lessons learned, and the exciting paths they will embark on next.

Rachel Carton

As the 2025 Co-Captain of School, Rachel made a significant contribution to our community. Her passion to ensure that students felt connection, excitement, and purpose was a driving factor in all her achievements across the year. Working hard alongside Vinuki Ranatunga, Rachel brought her own spark to learning, commitment and culture.

In 2026, Rachel is looking forward to studying Exercise and Sport Science/Physiotherapy at Swinburne University. She’s keen to meet new people and experience all the excitement that university life has to offer. We wish Rachel all the very best for her future endeavours.

Vinuki Ranatunga

Vinuki was the 2025 Co-Captain of School, and the Proxime Accessit to the Dux, achieving an impressive ATAR of 99.6.

In her role as Co-Captain, and in collaboration with Rachel, she brought a sense of joy to all students. Working on events and initiatives throughout the year, Vinuki’s sense of spark helped everyone flourish within our inclusive community. Looking back over her time at school, Vinuki is thankful for the memories, laughter, and has an overwhelming gratitude for everyone who makes St Catherine’s a truly wonderful place of learning.

The next step for Vinuki is a Bachelor of Science at Monash University in 2026. She feels very excited for all that lies ahead: new learnings, new experiences and new friendships to form. The St Catherine’s School community looks forward to following her progress in the future.

In 2026, Natalie will undertake a Bachelor of Commerce/Law at The University of Melbourne. This is an exciting pathway for Natalie and she is poised and ready to step into life as a university student. There is much to embrace and Natalie is keen for the year to start. Congratulations, Natalie, from all the St Catherine’s community.
