We are delighted to congratulate the Class of 2025.

This truly wonderful cohort has been led with distinction by School Co-Captains, Rachel Carton and Vinuki Ranatunga, and their Student Executive. Their collective leadership has demonstrated all that a St Catherine’s education embodies: strength of character, intelligence, and an alertness to all that is good.

The graduating Year 12 students have shown a fierce commitment to creating an inclusive School community and a passion for learning. They are each equipped with the academic knowledge and empathy required to lead good, contributing lives in their future journeys.

We now rightly congratulate the School Dux, Natalie Wang, who achieved an impressive ATAR of 99.85 and offer congratulations to our Proxime Accessit, Vinuki Ranatunga, who achieved an ATAR of 99.6.

In addition, we celebrate the students who achieved perfect study scores in Accounting, Business Management and Media, and we are pleased to report on an outstanding 11 subjects with study scores over 45. Significantly, 44% of graduating students achieved an ATAR over 90.

2025 School Dux

Congratulations to our 2025 St Catherine’s School Dux, Natalie Wang, who achieved an impressive 99.85 ATAR. Natalie is also Dux of English, French and Mathematical Methods. We are immensely proud of her achievements throughout the year, all of which have culminated in this distinct honour.

“I am filled with an immense amount of pride and gratitude to be named Dux this year. It’s been so rewarding to see all the work, the collaboration with the girls in my cohort, and the unwavering support from my teachers translated into such an acknowledgement. The belief and guidance from the teachers, as well as the remarkable girls around me, have truly pushed me to be the best version of myself as a student and as a person.”

2025 Proxime Accessit to the Dux

We extend our congratulations to the School’s Proxime Accessit to the Dux, Vinuki Ranatunga, who achieved an equally impressive ATAR of 99.6.

Throughout 2025, Vinuki was Co-Captain of School, a role in which she flourished. She consistently demonstrated respect and integrity in her learning, the role, and to her teachers, peers and their families, and the broader community.

“Looking back on my time at St Catherine’s, one thing that shines above all else is the incredible people who make up this community. There is something truly special about knowing you are surrounded by those who are always ready to uplift and support you both academically and personally. It’s these faces, these friendships, and these countless acts of kindness which have shaped my journey here into one that is life-changing, and one that I deeply cherish.”
