The much-anticipated Year 5 and 6 musical, The Little Mermaid JR, is only a few weeks away with the performances taking place in Week 9. The girls have been working hard and putting in tremendous effort, and unsurprisingly, tickets are selling quickly (tickets can be purchased here). This is going to be one of the highlights of the year! 

While the musical is a significant learning opportunity for Years 5 and 6, we are also excited to offer all Barbreck girls (Prep – Year 6) the chance to be on stage in a relaxed and informal setting. During our Friday afternoon assemblies, each homeroom teacher has selected one session where their class will present a short performance for the other students, and of course, parents are very welcome to attend! 

These performances provide a wonderful chance for the girls to build confidence and gain valuable experience speaking and performing in front of an audience. These class performances are designed to be informal and therefore, a great way to nurture their presentation skills in a comfortable environment. 

We encourage parents to come along to watch their child on stage as we believe these performances will enrich the girls’ school experience at school. Please check the dates below for your child’s class performance in either Term 3 or 4, and be sure to mark your calendar!
