Every Wednesday a group of students meet me on the Red Steps in Barbreck for Barbreck Club, which includes afternoon tea followed by art, crafting and sport. 

Two girls are assigned each week to distribute tasty treats prepared by the Mary Davis Café whilst chatting to our Barbreck Club friends about what we have done throughout our school day.  

The girls really enjoy mixing between the Year levels and connecting with like-minded students.  

Free outside play usually happens between 3.40pm and 4.00pm (depending on the weather). Access to School equipment and devising their own games is the order of the day. 

From 4.00pm to 5.00pm we head to the Art Room to continue with our art projects. These vary from sewing to painting and ceramics. Completed artwork is taken home at 5.00 pm to be enthusiastically shared with family members.

The Barbreck Club Program aims to support working families who require supervised care for their daughters after school and before the start of their after-school commitments, such as swimming lessons or swimming squad. This Program runs separately from the After the Bell Program.

The Program operates out of the Barbreck Art Room and utilises the Village Green and top field for sport.

The fee is $25 per week, including afternoon tea provided by the School catering company, Chartwells.
