Book Week 2022 – Key Events
Each year, since 1945 the Children’s Book Council of Australia has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week.
During this time we spend one glorious week celebrating books and Australian children’s authors and illustrators.
Book Week will be celebrated in Barbreck from August 23 to August 26, with the theme Dreaming with eyes open…
Key events during the week are provided below.
| Wednesday 17 August | Book Week Performance Held in the Auditorium for all students and classes that can attend. |
| 23-26 August | Book Fair Parents are welcome to visit the Book Fair from 8.00am till 8.25am or 3.20 till 4.00pm |
| Tuesday 23 August | ELC Book Week Dress Up Day ELC students will be in the Barbreck Library from 9.30am |
| Wednesday 24 August | Junior School Book Week Dress Up Day Students and teachers can come to School dressed up as a book character. |
| Wednesday 24 August | Book Week Parade The Parade of book character dress ups will begin at 9.30am. All parents are welcomed to attend. |
