With an expectation of wild weather yesterday afternoon, it was the blue sky that greeted our thirty-strong District Cross Country Team at Kooyong Park.

When it was all said and done St Catherine’s finished in third place overall in a hotly contested carnival.

As always St Catherine’s is a competitive school in the Population Trophy as we are quite smaller than most of our neighbouring District schools. We were able to take home the Trophy again this year.

There were many fine performances of determination over the afternoon and we have three girls who finished in the top eight and will now progress to the Division stage of Cross Country.
