We know that young women graduate from a girls’ school not only ready to take their place in the world as a person of equal intellectual stature, but also knowing they are capable of leading.

At St Catherine’s, leadership is a journey of personal growth and is different for each member of our community. Integral to this journey is the structured Year 9 and 10 Leadership Diploma, which aims to develop an understanding of each student’s personal capabilities and contribution to the wider community.

Outside of the Leadership Diploma, students in Years 6 and 12 have the opportunity to hold specific leadership roles within the School. Leadership at St Catherine’s School encompasses a holistic journey of understanding oneself and gaining confidence in leading others and is a skill we instil in our students that is valued in preparing them for the wider world and the workplace.

Year 10 student Maddie Powell, shares her perspective on what she appreciates most, about her education at St Catherine’s.
