St Catherine’s will be conducting a practice GAT on Friday 26 April for all students enrolled in a Unit 3/4 subject in 2019The GAT plays an important role in moderation of VCE study scores. With that in mind, the GAT needs to be given a level of importance and by doing a practice GAT, we hope this will support the girls and enable them to do as well as they can on Wednesday 12 June when the official GAT is conducted.

The purpose of the practice GAT is for the students to become familiar with the style of the test, especially the multiple choice questions and how they should pace themselves within the time constraints of the GAT test. Even though students cannot ‘study’ for the GAT, completing a practice GAT gives the girls an opportunity to formulate strategies, so they can do as well as possible in the official GAT held on Wednesday 12 June.
