Wonder in the Waratah Room

“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” – Albert Einstein, German Physicist.

The children in the Waratah Room are discovering that there is wonder in everything.

The children in the Waratah Room have commenced their new year with a sense of happiness and enthusiasm. They have shared in their initial weeks of play and learning with their focus channelled towards establishing cheerful, reciprocal relationships.

The Waratah Room children, families and teachers are cultivating a sense of curiosity in our lives, aiming to create a stronger connection between ourselves and the world around us. Together, we are discovering that there is wonder in everything: the patterns of the veins in a leaf, the freckles on a face and the movement of water in the sea. Over recent days, the children have begun to explore how we can use wonder to strengthen our relationships, tap into our sense of self, and better appreciate the sheer magic and adventure in our daily experience as a community of learners.

The children are now considering the role they play in the Waratah Room and the positive contributions they plan to make throughout the course of the year together.
