A Celebration of Ideas in the Banksia Room

Over the last two weeks, the children have been reflecting on their year in the Banksia Room. Looking back through the class journal has given each child the opportunity to reminisce about the learning that occurred and their time together as a group.

The storyline for the ‘Banksia End of Year Performance’ will be a celebration of everyone’s ideas. It is important to start with individual ideas and then bring them together in one story. The story will be told, using the children’s own words, class made props, costumes, music and songs. Today, each child has drawn what they would like to have in the story. The drawings are displayed to tune the children into the process.
