You’re invited to view and celebrate the extraordinary creativity and artistic talents on display at the 2024 St Catherine’s VCE Art Show.   

The 2024 VCE Art Show, held in Dorothy Prizzey Hall will feature an extensive number of exhibits from Years 11 and 12 students across a range of creative disciplines including:  

• Studio Arts (painting, sculptures, installations, fashion, print/lino, drawing, abstract art),  
• Media, (film, photography, zines); and  
• Visual Communication Design (architecture, interior and graphic design).   

Join us for the Opening Night celebrations on Friday 11 October from 6.00pm to 8.00pm   

To celebrate the opening of the 2024 VCE Art Show, light refreshments will be served and there will be a guest speaker and silent auction.

XaSha Chua-Huggins (’18), talented set and costume designer/maker is our fabulous guest speaker who will inspire creativity in you.   

Silent Auction 

Jessie Breakwell (’93) has generously donated one of her prize original prints for a silent auction on the Opening night.   

Jessie is a highly acclaimed Melbourne based artist and St Catherine’s Old Girl who has been painting for more than 20 years and is globally recognised for her quirky, abstract and whimsical style, depicting zebras, elephants, tropical birds, serene still life’s and intricate landscapes.   

The remarkable unique print Jessie has donated is 100 x 150cm on 300gsm cotton rag paper is a limited over 5 and hand detailed, valued at $2200.
