Captains Collaborate: A Dream-Inspired Assembly

In an inspiring display of teamwork, St Catherine’s Senior School Co-Captains, Alice Molnar and Scarlett Shelton and Barbreck Co-Captains Nina Calvert and Samara Grinsell hosted a combined School Assembly themed around dreams.

The Assembly began with an exciting trivia challenge between the Junior and Senior School staff, with Barbreck staff emerging victorious, setting a lively tone.

The Assembly featured an array of talented performances, including a stunning vocal performance by Year 4, Annabelle (Annie) Venter and an intricate gymnastics routine by Alexandra (Alexi) Kusumah in Year 6. These performances captivated the audience and highlighted the theme of dreams and aspirations, showing what can be achieved through dedication and hard work.

One of the highlights of the Assembly was a series of novelty activities where our Barbreck students challenged Senior School students. Once again our Junior School triumphed in all activities, showcasing their skills in solving Rubik’s Cubes, hula hooping, and skipping. These fun competitions not only brought joy and laughter to everyone, but also emphasised the importance of friendship as each of the girls was cheered on by their peers.

The Assembly was a resounding success, filled with joy, talent, and a strong sense of community. It was a memorable celebration of dreams and collective achievements, demonstrating the importance or collaboration and supporting one another in the pursuit of dreams.
