Special Visitors for our Year 3 girls

Year 3 recently celebrated a delightful Special Visitors’ Morning, creating a memorable experience for both the students and their cherished guests. The anticipated event was one valued by the girls and demonstrated their meaningful bonds with their visitors.
The day commenced with brilliant musical performances by all students from Prep to Year 3. The Year 3 girls, having honed their skills in Music lessons, treated the audience to a range of musical items, including singing and recorder. This was followed by Evelyn Luo’s amazing solo piano performance.
The girls then excitedly escorted their visitors to our classroom. Here, they proudly displayed their work, providing a glimpse into their academic and creative endeavours.
The classroom buzzed with excitement as the girls and their visitors engaged in challenging chess matches, competitive card games, and creative origami folding.
As both the girls and their visitors laughed and conversed about their wonderful achievements, it was evident that the girls shared a special bond with their visitors.
When asked what they enjoyed most about the morning, the girls noted:
“Showing my grandparents my work”
“Being able to play card games with all my friends and their visitors.”
“Having my cousins come into my classroom and school for the first time.”
“Singing and playing the recorder for all the visitors to hear.”
“Everything!”
