Harmony Week 2024

Harmony Day holds immense significance as a reminder of the value of diversity and the necessity of respect and tolerance between all members of our increasingly diverse society.
It is an appeal to accept cultural variety as a source of enlightenment and strength that promotes harmony and social cohesion. We can embrace our diversity and acknowledge our common humanity via projects like the Cultural Clothing Exhibition, which will ultimately lead to a more accepting and harmonious world.
This year’s Harmony Week theme is ‘Everyone Belongs.’ During the week we provided a lunchtime session for students to share their stories and the significance behind their cultural dress, allowing other students to gain insights into the traditions, values, and histories of different cultures.
On Friday it was Cultural Dress Day, where students wore the colours of their flags or culture dress to School. This week, we celebrated the multiculturalism at our School, and appreciation for diversity. We also gained a deeper understanding of many other cultures.
