Beachside Division Swimming Carnival

The atmosphere was electric at the recent Beachside Division Swimming Carnival last Friday 8 March as our talented St Catherine’s swimmers dove into action!

It was a day filled with excitement and fast races, with our swimmers showcasing their skills in the pool. Among them were Ping Hui Li, Nina Steedman, Catherine Barry, Mariella Simmons, Abigail Chan, Imogen Brownjohn, Samara Grinsell, Ivy Zu, and Kimberly Chen who represented St Catherine’s with determination. Their hard work paid off as they not only demonstrated exceptional swimming prowess but also set a couple of new records, raising the bar for future competitions.

We’re thrilled to announce that six of our girls – Kimberly Chen, Ivy Zu, Mariella Simmons, Abigail Chan, Nina Steedman, and Catherine Barry have qualified to progress to the Regional Swimming Championships, a testament to their dedication and skill.

Congratulations to all our swimmers for their outstanding performances!

Years 5 and 6 After School Sports

Tuesday afternoons have become a highlight of the week with the thrilling Years 5 and 6 after-school sport House Competition.

It’s been a joy to witness our students’ enthusiasm and commitment as they compete to represent their Houses with pride.

Across all Houses, we’ve seen remarkable displays of teamwork and sportswomanship, with several standout performances leaving Miss Cody and Mrs De Nardis in awe.

Davis House proved to be a force to be reckoned with during the Teeball competition, clinching victory in a tightly contested final against Beaulieu Blair by just two runs.

Well done to all the students who participated!

House Cross Country

The anticipation is mounting as we gear up for the highly anticipated House Cross Country event happening this Monday 18 March.

For all students in Years 3 to 6, this event is a celebration of athleticism, determination, and School spirit.

We extend a warm invitation to parents to join us for this exciting day of racing down at Kooyong Park.

Students, remember to come prepared in your Sports Uniform with your House colour tops as you embark on this exhilarating cross-country adventure.

Who will be our 2024 House Cross Country Champions?
