Top Acts to Thrill at Recital Centre

“My teachers, Mrs Jenny Mathers and Mr Tim Collins, were inspirational to my music studies at St Catherine’s. Without them, what I have achieved would not have been possible.”

The state’s brightest young creative talent will have their moment to shine when they perform at Top Acts, held at the Melbourne Recital Centre on May 12.

Recent St Catherine’s School Toorak graduate Greta Chen has been selected to play her instrument, the marimba, at the Victorian Curriculum and assessment Authority event.

The concert showcase a special selection of performers across the Top Class performance series, including dance, drama, music solo, theatre studies and group performance acts.

Chen said she was excited that her family and friends would see her perform at Recital Centre.

“It is not often that you get chosen to perform with other incredible musicians, actors and composers from all over Victoria,” she said.
