‘National title for St Catherine’s’
“IF there is snow on a slope there’s likely to be a St Catherine’s student on it skiing her way to victory,” reports The Stonnington Leader in their 27 September 2016 edition.
After winning the Victorian Interschool Snowsports Championships at Mt Buller earlier in the winter, St Catherine’s won the Australian Interschool Snowsports Championships at Perisher last week to complete the double.
St Catherine’s placed first by comfortable margins in both the Primary and Secondary female categories.
Canberra Girls Grammar was runner-up. The Division 2 Alpine girls’ team of St Catherine’s also placed first, reflecting the overall strength of the St Catherine’s snowsports program.
