Our boarders call Illawarra their home. The fully renovated, National Trust-listed Victorian mansion provides a comfortable and unique home environment to our community of girls.

The spacious bedrooms, sleeping two to six girls, include a personal wardrobe with lockable drawer, pin board, chest of drawers and access to wireless internet services. With majority of our Year 12 girls having their own room equipped with an individual study desk.

Each girl is encouraged to create an individual atmosphere in her bedroom with posters, photographs, books and magazines.

Illawarra has a number of large rooms, which allow girls to have individual spaces outside of their bedrooms. There is a large study room, where individual desks enable quiet study. A kitchen is available for students so that they can make a drink or have a healthy snack at any time. Full laundry amenities are provided and the two lounge rooms are equipped with couches and TV facilities, so students can relax, watch movies, or socialise.

Girls share meals together in the Dining Room at Illawarra and are welcome to invite friends to the House.

Facilities such as the Library, Sports & Aquatic Centre and sporting fields are also regularly accessed by boarders out of School hours.
