Congratulations Langley Templeton who claimed victory in the 2017 House Hockey Competition after the final round of competition.

Milla Naylor (Year 6) led the way for Langley and goal sneak Sienna Bamford (Year 5) was dangerous around goals. For Davis, it was the skills of Lucy Dunlop (Year 6) and Rhea Werner (Year 5) that held the team together whilst Millicent Brown (Year 6) added midfield firepower. Beaulieu Blair were well served by Claudia Sowerby (Year 6) whilst Charlotte Rodgers (Year 6) was rock solid in goals.

Holmes Kilbride were well served by Charlotte Wood (Year 5) and Sienna Darcy (Year 6) whilst Mia Krongold (Year 6) was a goal sneak up forward.

On Monday 23 October, the Years 3 and 4 girls, who attend after school sport, were treated to a Taekwondo session. The first of two planned classes. The girls learnt so much and were kept totally engaged. The teacher explained that each girl should be able to grow into a well informed and strong woman, one who can identify high risk areas and only uses self-defence as a last resort.

Bike Education

Week 2 of Bike Education, witnessed some intrepid Year 6 students head to the grassy slopes of Kevin Bartlett Reserve to test their bike skills.

Next week, the girls will take on the Yarra trails as we venture further along the mighty Yarra River.
