The Foundation Board is a talent collective with representation across all our community groups. The Board strategically leads philanthropic programs for St Catherine’s with students at the centre of all its endeavours.

Foundation Board members are charged with making recommendations to the School Council designed to encourage and recognise the School community’s philanthropic spirit and support.

Sally Joubert, Chair

Mrs Joubert is a current and past parent, and CEO of an advertising research agency. Mrs Joubert Co-Chaired the Schools ‘Her Future Begins Here’ Campaign for the Junior School 2016-2018.

 

Gina Israel (Shackell ’76), President

Mrs Israel is an alumna, past School Captain, past member and Treasurer of SCOGA (St Catherine’s Old Girls’ Association) and past parent. The President is the key interface between the Board and the School’s alumni.

Nina Aberdeen (Kirby ’94)

Mrs Aberbeen is an alumna, current parent and Corporate Council with Village Roadshow.

 

Lachlan Armstrong (’95)

Mr Armstrong is an alumnus, current parent and executive director of a private equity firm. He has held senior management positions in several ASX listed companies.

Ronald Calvert

Mr Calvert is a current Junior and Senior School parent.  He is the CEO of Munro Partners a boutique investment management firm and a member of CAANZ.

 

James Chen

Mr Chen is a current parent working in corporate and consulting executive roles within shipping and logistics, infrastructure, resources and telecommunication industries in Australia and Asia.

Andrew Demetriou

Mr Demetriou is a current parent and the past AFL Chief Executive Officer and serves in several corporate governance roles, including Chairman of Capital Health.

Damien Grinsell

Mr Grinsell is a current parent and world leader in microsurgical cancer reconstruction and runs a successful private practice.

Chrissy Ryan

A proud Kilbride House Old Girl, Chrissy has been involved in many roles over her time as a parent of two girls who also went through the School. She has been President of The Blue Ribbon Club (Sports Auxiliary), served as President of the Heyington Club (Rowing Auxiliary), been on the Past Parents’ and Friends’ Network and President of SCOGA.

  Dr Anne Waterhouse

Dr Waterhouse is a past parent, member of School Council, past Chair of School Council and a current member of the Past Parents’ and Families’ Network (PPFN) Committee.
Dr Waterhouse is Chair of Independent Schools Victoria and practises medicine in regional Victoria and remote Western Australia.
