Philanthropy has helped deliver a number of capital projects over time – the Ruth Langley Senior School Centre, Marigold Southey Sports & Aquatic Centre, Barbreck Redevelopment, including the Selena Yao Auditorium, the Edna Holmes Science Centre, the Jamie and Rebecca Gray Theatre and the Sports Centre redevelopment being recent projects.

St Catherine’s School has enjoyed a long history of sporting success and is credited with nurturing talented young sports women to achieve at state, national and international competitions. In 2022 alone, we proudly acknowledged the success of our Senior Schoolgirls VIII Rowing Crew, now international champions following their success at the Henley Royal Regatta and our Senior and Junior Snowsports Teams, State and National Champions.

Delivered in 2023, the new Sports Centre provides our students with a contemporary fit-for purpose indoor sports court, a dedicated sports and conditioning studio – inclusive of an ergometer training pod, as well as tailored circuit training equipment, and a PMP and tumbling studio for our younger athletes.

In 2024, the planning is well underway with architects for the new Music School to be situated on the now-cleared block of land adjacent to the Dorothy Pizzey Centre.
