Lunar New Year Celebration
Our School community recently came together for a joyous and uplifting tradition that celebrates the Lunar New Year.
Students, staff and parents happily gathered around the Village Green, taking up any vantage point to watch the Lion Dance. Barbreck students burst into squeals of delight as the Lion pranced toward them, each step landing in perfect time with the beat of the accompanying drums. Following on from the joy of the dance, we welcomed our parents for a special morning tea.
The morning was a wondrous celebration of traditions, culture and diversity, values that we hold dear at St Catherine’s.
