Girls Talk
Some parents feel like they have to go back to school and learn a whole new language if they want to understand and stay in touch with their daughters.
ELC to Year 6 parents are invited to attend the St Catherine’s School Semester 2 Girls Talk.
Justine Lomas, Emotional Intelligence Research Unit Programs Coordinator, will discuss the partnership that has been established between St Catherine’s School and Swinburne University to promote and foster emotional intelligence competencies in our students.
The presentation will cover:
- What is emotional intelligence?
- Why is it important in young people?
- How does EI enhance learning?
