Barbreck News – House Swimming Carnival

The Years 3 to 6 House Swimming Carnival was a fantastic celebration of energy, house pride, and joyful participation.

Students demonstrated their swimming skills while embodying the values of teamwork, determination, and sportswomanship.

The competitive races were a highlight, with students excelling in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly events. House relays and novelty races were particularly thrilling, as the pool echoed with cheers of encouragement as the girls embodied the Barbreck spirit.

Congratulations to Kimberly Chen who received the Blue Ribbon Race Award for having the quickest freestyle time in Years 5 and 6. This was proceeded by Matea Bjazevic in Year 4 who received the Junior Flyer Award for the fastest freestyle race in the Years 3 and 4 category.

A huge thank you to Miss Cody, Barbreck staff and all parents who helped make the event a resounding success.

Most importantly, congratulations to the students for their outstanding efforts and team spirit.
