Meet our Davis Co-Captains 2024

Get to know our 2024 Davis House Co-Captains, Imogen Brownjohn and Stella Ng.
How did you feel when you were elected as a Captain?
Imogen: When I was elected, I was filled with joy and pride knowing my Mum would be proud and that Davis was going to have the most determined and dedicated leader.
Stella: When I was elected as a House Captain, I felt incredibly lucky and grateful that I was chosen from the selection of girls, and that my House could rely on me to lead them this year.
Why did you choose to nominate for a student leadership position?
Imogen: I chose to nominate because I really wanted to lead my House, learn some new skills, and I loved how the old House Captains enjoyed their role.
Stella: At first, I was not sure about nominating myself for this captaincy role because I did not know if I could lead my House. However, with support from my family and friends, I worked up the courage to put my hand up for this role.
Can you share some of the things you want to achieve in this captaincy role?
Imogen: I want to be able to achieve, helping my House whether we win or lose, being a great leader, and working with my Co-Captain Stella.
Stella: This year, I want to achieve teamwork and helping others, not just in sports but in my everyday School life. Most importantly, I want to win all my House competitions!
What does being a St Catherine’s girl mean to you?
Imogen: Being a St Catherine’s girl means to me that I’m a kind, well-rounded person who looks out for everyone, tries their hardest, and wears my blue ribbon and uniform with pride.
Stella: Being a St Catherine’s girl does mean wearing my uniform with pride and with a blue ribbon in my hair. It also means being helpful and caring toward our companions, being a role model and leading others to success.
