St Catherine’s Swimmers Shine

We are excited to celebrate the impressive accomplishments of the St Catherine’s talented swimmers who recently competed in the 2025 Victorian Long Course Victorian Championships. Their dedication, hard work, and exceptional performances have earned MSC the title of No.1 Team in Victoria!
Over the course of the 5-day championship meet, Annabel Taylor (Year 12), Kimberly Chen (7), Louisa Liao (10), and Vera Zeng (10) went head-to-head with some of the best swimmers in the state and Australia. As a school community, we are filled with pride for their achievements, and we applaud their teamwork, perseverance, and commitment. These students truly exemplify the values of determination and excellence.
Competition highlights:
- Kimberly Chen participated in 19 races, including heats and finals, and earned 2nd place in both the 200m Breaststroke and 400m Individual Medley
- Louisa Liao swam in 6 events, including the 200m Freestyle Relay, where her team finished 8th
- Annabel Taylor competed in 5 individual races and 1 relay, finishing 6th in the 200m Breaststroke
- Vera Zeng raced in 15 races, securing 3rd place in the 100m Breaststroke and contributing to a 3rd-place finish in the 200m Medley Relay
