Three nights at Valley Homestead, Myrtleford (one night of camping)

After travelling to Myrtleford, students settle in to Valley Homestead, situated in the beautiful Ovens Valley with stunning views of Mt Buffalo and the surrounding mountains, students spend three nights in self contained cabins and one night in tents.
This night out in the bush is in smaller groups, accompanied by two St Catherine's School staff members, where the students learn about outdoor cooking and other integral camping skills.
Students spend time during the day searching for gold, learning bush survival skills and spending a day at the aerial obstacle course, where their personal boundaries are extended.
At night, students are kept busy with bush dancing, night orienteering and meeting some of the local characters. ‘Mountains and Mayhem' is the Unit of Investigatuion explored on this program.
