With your philanthropic support, we can provide the facilities, programs, infrastructure and staff to build the foundations for life-long independent learning for our girls.

Annual Giving 2020

St Catherine’s School has been extremely fortunate in receiving phenomenal community support for our 2020 Annual Giving Program through our inaugural St Catherine’s Giving Day held on Wednesday 5 August. The participation of over 300 supporters along with the generosity of our matching major donors, has helped raise significant funds towards establishing the St Catherine’s Hardship Fund. Coupled with the School’s own contribution of $500,000, our 2020 goal of raising $1 million for Hardship has been achieved .

This remarkable response from our School community has enabled St Catherine’s School to provide an uninterrupted and continuing education for current students whose families face changes to their circumstances, and also to support new families who would otherwise not be able to send their daughters to St Catherine’s.

At the heart of the blue ribbon is the spirit of participation, equity and hope. So, the School’s intention is to grow the Hardship Fund over time so many more girls will be afforded a St Catherine’s education, in spite of difficulty.

COVID-19 is but a moment in our history; Your tax-deductible donation to the Hardship Fund will remain the legacy of this time. All gifts, regardless of size, will be a gift of equity and hope; the blue-ribbon spirit in action. By giving to the Hardship Fund, we will collectively continue to provide educational opportunities for generations of young women to come.

Giving Day – At The Heart of the Blue Ribbon

The incredible generosity of the St Catherine’s School community was clearly evident on Wednesday 5 August when the first ever 24-hour online Giving Day was held in support of the School’s Hardship Fund.

A total of $422,203 was raised through the Giving Day and the generosity of our matching donors. Every sector of our school community was represented in our Giving Day pool of donors, including students, staff and parents, current, past and future. A phenomenal community effort during extraordinarily challenging times.

‘We remain inspired by history, built on a solid foundation of community. Formed through lasting friendships, and preserved by the undeniable St Catherine’s quality of kindness towards each other. Once again, we will shape our history, by revealing a community; ready to assemble, and participate’. Principal, Mrs Michelle Carroll
