Fearless – Molly Nash

Year 12 graduate Molly Nash is planning to pursue her interest in the health and food industry by studying a Bachelor of Health Science at Monash University.

“I am really interested in food styling and hope to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced and talented food stylists to enhance and further my skills in this area,” explains Molly.

Commencing at St Catherine’s as a Year 7 student, Molly represented the School in AFL, Softball, Athletics and Swimming, and played a significant role in creating a positive atmosphere within each of these teams. A strong work ethic and positive approach to learning has helped Molly achieve outstanding results across her subjects.

Molly says St Catherine’s taught her the value of hard work and perseverance, “with determination and hard work, you can literally achieve anything you set your mind to, often being surprised with your own abilities.”

A highlight of her time at St Catherine’s was a Netball trip to Fiji, “It was honestly the most eye-opening experience and a trip of a lifetime, we were incredibly fortunate to have an opportunity like that.”

Molly has this advice for the Year 12 students of 2019: “It is such a special year and incredibly fun, so it is important to have a good balance to help minimise the stress levels.”
