My School Website
The 570 students referred to on the My School website were the number of St Catherine's students in Prep to Year 12 at the beginning of 2009. Our 100 plus ELC students were omitted.
I am enormously thankful for the sincere interest of our families and I thank the group that has brought my attention to the difficulty of interpreting the My School website.
Let me be very clear, from ELC 3 Year Old to Year 12, St Catherine's School has 683 girls today. On the My School website, under the side heading of School Facts, it talks about the year range as being P-12. St Catherine's School, as of today, has 583 girls in Prep to Year 12, plus over 100 in the ELC which contains our 3 and 4 Year Old children. The 570 students referred to on the My School website were the number of students in Prep to Year 12 at the beginning of 2009. Once again, the 100 plus ELC students were omitted.
I hope this clears up any misapprehension about decreasing school numbers. In fact the reverse is true. Please contact me should you wish to discuss the website further.
