A MAD Night of Entertainment

Students entertained audiences with a mix of jazz, drama and art at the St Catherine's MAD Night on Friday 19 June.

A wonderful evening was had by all at the St Catherine's MAD Night on Friday 19 June, as our students entertained with a lively mix of jazz, drama and art.

The MAD Night of fun and frivolity kicked off in the Senior School Hall with audiences treated to mime acts, human puppetry, jazz repertoires by our vocal soloists and music ensembles, an art exhibition of Years 7 to 10 masterpieces, a ‘Guess the Stars' competition and a silent auction of etchings created by students on the recent Italy Study Tour.

While the creative efforts of our students were on show, members of the audience were also invited to demonstrate their ‘inner Picasso' by creating their own art work on paper tablecloths over the course of the night!

Drama Captains, Olivia Friedmann and Adelaide Myer and Music Co-Captains, Emily Martyn and Annabel Willder were outstanding throughout the night, with each compering a quarter of the show, as well as giving outstanding performances in their respective arts.
