iMacs = Creativity plus!

This professional video software will allow the girls to let their imagination and creativity ‘run wild'!

St Catherine's Media, Visual Communication and Art students now have a new reason to get creative! A whole new suite of iMac computers has just arrived at School.

The introduction of the new computers has been extremely exciting, not only for students but for teachers as well. The new iMacs come equipped with a range of professional software used across the media industry such as Photoshop CS2, Premiere and Flash, which allow users to move from program to program seamlessly. For example, Years 9 and 10 students can now create their own animations in Flash and then add music, sound effects and titles using Premiere. Year 11s will now be able to write and create commercials for their products, then make labels and logos using Photoshop.

The iMacs also have GarageBand, Photo Booth, Safari, iPhoto and iTunes, which will allow students to make their own short films complete with original soundtracks more easily. This professional software will allow the girls to let their imagination and creativity ‘run wild'!
