St Catherine’s girls help save a life!
St Catherine’s students Sophie Brash, Lucy Court, Fiona McNally, Bronwyn O’Brien, Amelia Perkins, Jade Robertson, Georgia Richardson and Natalie Stansen saved 25 lives this month.
The girls donated their blood with the Australian Red Cross Blood Bank, as part of a voluntary community service activity. Every donation of blood will help save three lives due to blood loss either from injury, major surgery, or diseases that destroy blood components.
Some of the girls were scared, others were nervous but all donated their precious blood with plenty of smiles, knowing they were helping people that they did not know.
