Mrs Tracey McCallum

With vast experience in the Finance and Insurance industry across Australia and New Zealand, Tracey McCallum brings a wealth of practical knowledge to her classrooms and Faculty. Since commencing her teaching career nine years ago, she has taught across a number of subject areas in the Humanities domain. In her Acting role of Head of Humanities, she leads a team of 12 teachers and brings her expertise and team focused approach to this Faculty.
Passionate about Financial Literacy in girls’ education, she endeavours to increase girl’s financial competency. She is also very aware of the importance of the skills and knowledge students attain through the studies of History and Geography and driven to ensure students analytical skills are able to reflect on the past, global connections to guide their future decisions.
Tracey is also the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Coordinator at St Catherine’s where she manages the administration of the VCE courses and liaises with Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) to ensure best practice and delivery of the VCE. She brings to this role her logistical planning skills and her ability to work cooperatively and professionally with the VCE teachers to ensure St Catherine’s develops the most effective and progressive VCE programs.
