Just for Girls

Just for Girls 1 Gretel (Grace's twin sister), Emily and Grace (Year 8) celebrate their Cricket State Championships medal

"St Catherine's is a really friendly school. You can do a lot of sport and you almost always get into the sports teams. Another good thing is that you get to know everyone in your year level. St Catherine's girls always have a happy spirit and they like to try new things, and all of us love to have fun! Another thing is that we love to help people and we even have our own Student Foundation. I have done doorknocks  for the Red Cross for the past couple of years, and other things I have been involved in are hockey, soccer, athletics, swimming, surf lifesaving, softball, skiing, acting, the fundraising fashion parade, tree planting and debating. In Junior School, I got to be House Captain and I was also a Buddy to Prep girls. I am hoping to travel in the future - I would love to work in Africa and do some aid work. Next year I am hoping to go to England on exchange for a term and also along the Burke and Wills Desert Trail. I'd also like to keep up my cricket and maybe play for Australia one day. I think one great thing about St Catherine's is the outdoor trips, and I am looking forward to going on more camps and doing my Duke of Ed and being physically challenged that way. This year I went to the Great Barrier Reef on a geography trip which was awesome."
