Our Boarding House - Illawarra
Our boarders call Illawarra their home. The fully renovated, National Trust-listed Victorian mansion provides a comfortable and unique home environment to our community of girls.
The spacious bedrooms, sleeping two to six girls, include a personal wardrobe with lockable drawer, pin board and chest of drawers. Most of our Year 12 girls have their own room.
Each girl is encouraged to create an individual atmosphere in her bedroom with posters, photographs, books, magazines and the like.
Spacious study areas provide an environment conducive to homework.
A large recreation room, with pool table, is a great place to listen to music and socialise during free time.
Girls share three meals a day together in the Dining Room at Illawarra House and are welcome to invite friends to the House.
The Common Rooms with televisions and lounge chairs are made for relaxation and conversation.
Girls may prepare snacks and weekend breakfasts in the kitchen.
Full laundry facilities are provided. Facilities such as the Library and sporting fields are also regularly accessed by boarders out of school hours.
