The children in the Early Learning Centre (ELC) are currently engaged in collaborative projects to prepare an end of year celebration in the form of a concert. Over recent weeks, the children have been reflecting on their year, brainstorming ideas, writing storylines, selecting songs and designing costumes and props for their End of Year Concerts. The children take proud ownership of their Concerts as they are actively involved in all aspects of decision making, planning and preparation.

The children in the Early Learning Centre are currently preparing for their End of Year Concerts.

This is a great opportunity for the children to work together collaboratively with peers in small groups. The children are learning to share ideas, negotiate, problem solve and take on different roles in their project. It is wonderful to see the learning and skills that they have gained throughout the year on display through this collaborative project.

The children have been designing costumes and props for their End of Year Concerts.

The Concerts are currently in production. After some more fine-tuning and rehearsal, the children will be delighted to share their performances with their families in the coming weeks! We know that this promises to be a very special occasion not to be missed.
