Welcome to the last edition of VCE Insights for Term 3. It has certainly been a busy term for all VCE students and no doubt the break will give the girls an opportunity to recharge. In saying this, it is particularly important for the Year 12 students to maintain an effective study routine throughout the holiday period, so they are prepared for the trial exams and the upcoming end of year written exams commencing Wednesday 30 October.

In this edition of VCE Insights, you will find details on key dates and academic schedules for the upcoming fortnight.

  • Friday 20 September: Term 3 concludes at 3.20pm.
  • Unit 3/4 Trial Exams: Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 October.
  • Monday 7 October: Term 4 commences for all students.

Clock-On Sessions
As you may be aware, completing practice exams and/or questions is an important part of the preparation for the upcoming end of year VCE Unit 3/4 exams. It is imperative that all girls sitting exams this coming November are well rehearsed.

Trial Unit 3 and 4 Examinations
Unit 3 and 4 trial examinations will take place during the second week of the Term 3 holiday. This is an excellent opportunity for students to practice writing under timed conditions and to gain authentic feedback from their teachers before their final examinations. All Year 11 and 12 students and their parents have received a copy of the trial exam timetable.

Reminder: Years 7 to 12 Speech Night
The Years 7 to 12 Speech Night will take place on Wednesday 20 November at 6.30pm. The evening is an opportunity to celebrate student achievements in Years 7 to 12. All students from Years 7 to 12 are expected to attend. Each student in Year 12 will walk across the stage and be individually acknowledged. There will be reserved seating for Year 12 parents.

Ticket booking information for parents will be provided in Term 4.
