Our Girls Shine at the State All Schools Track and Field Championships

Millie Fraser-Smith (Year 10), Juliet Grant (Year 12) and Annelise Cody (Year 11).

Congratulations to the 10 St Catherine’s students who competed at the State All Schools Track and Field Championships across the weekend. All girls performed extremely well against the best athletes from across the state:

  • Juliet Grant (Year 12) – 1st U20 400 metre.
  • Olivia Nigido-Scott (Year 8) – 2nd U15 Hammer Throw and 4th U15 Shot Put.
  • Celia Cody (Year 11) – 2nd U20 High Jump (PB).
  • Elodie Ferrali (Year 9) – 3rd U15 200 metre Hurdles and 6th U15 90 metre Hurdles (PB).
  • Annelise Cody (Year 11) – 3rd U18 400 metre Hurdles and 6th U18 400 metre.
  • Chloe Joubert (Year 9) – 6th U16 800 metre (PB).
  • Millie Fraser-Smith (Year 10) – 6th U17 Javelin.
  • Matisse Stafford (Year 7) – 9th U15 800 metre.
  • Hope Kudelka (Year 11) – 8th U18 Javelin.
  • Emma Froomes (Year 8) – 10th U14 High Jump (PB).

We congratulate Olivia Nigido-Scott in her selection to the Victorian Team to compete at the Australian All Schools in Cairns, Queensland in December. We also acknowledge Elodie Ferrali, Annelise Cody, Celia Cody and Olivia Nigido-Scott in achieving their national qualification standard for the Australian Championships in 2019.
