It has been wonderful to welcome our youngest learners and their families back to the Early Learning Centre this week after the Spring break. As educators, it is always exciting to see the children’s enthusiasm as they reconnect with their peers and the learning program. The children are exuding happiness and confidence which is demonstrated through their interactions, play and learning.

This final term for the year is sure to be a busy yet exciting time in our educational programs. Excursions have been planned to complement and extend upon the learning that is occurring in the classrooms. Our three year-old learners will venture to Collingwood Children’s Farm whilst our four year-old learners will explore the rock pools at Rickett’s Point.

The children in each class will also participate in a whole group project to plan, design and implement an end of year concert as a celebration of their year together. Much discussion, debate, planning and rehearsing will go into this process. The children will be very excited to bring their work to life on the stage later in the term.

Another important aspect of our Term 4 programs is the discussion, preparation and orientation for the next stage in the children’s educational journeys. It is important that the children are well-prepared and positively supported for these upcoming changes. This is embedded in our programs as the children commence the orientation process.

We look forward to sharing an exciting term of learning, growth and celebration with the children and families in Campbell House.
