We would appreciate your support in ensuring our students are looking their best and wearing their uniform correctly. St Catherine’s School is proud of its reputation in the community and sets a high value on the manner in which our students present themselves. Our Year 11 and 12 students in particular are regarded as role models so exemplary standards are expected.

  • Winter uniform, with skirt at appropriate length
  • Sports uniform, rugby tops not permitted
  • Blue ribbon
  • No nail polish
  • Students are permitted to wear one stud earring in the lobe of each ear. If students have other piercings, they are required to wear a clear plastic earing, not tape

Holidays – Students should both relax and catch up on work

Students are encouraged to use the upcoming three week holiday period to both relax and to catch up on work. It is recommended that all Year 11 and 12 students read their English texts in preparation for Term 3. It is also a good time to refine notes and organise folders.

Read your daughter’s report with her and encourage her to implement the advice and feedback from her teachers.

It is also important that your daughter has some down time to unwind and relax. She should focus on getting a good sleep without distractions, looking after her diet with healthy natural food, moving everyday and participating in activities that she enjoys, such as going to the movies or the gym.

Changes to end of semester senior school student reports

For several years the Senior School has provided parents with the opportunity to access their daughter’s academic information via the Mystcatherine’s Parent Portal.  http://mystcatherines.net.au

Improvements in our digital technology enable us to deliver academic information more efficiently to parents. In recent years, academic results and feedback about your daughter’s learning and progress has been accessible throughout the term via the Mystcatherine’s Parent Portal and as a hard copy.

In 2018, we will only provide the End of Semester Report via the Mystcatherine’s Parent Portal. As we have done in the past, our parents will be emailed when the Report is available to be accessed through the Portal.

The School appreciates some of our Senior students require a printed and signed copy for their Tertiary and College Applications, so a printed hard copy of the End of Semester Report can be arranged upon request at the School Reception.

If you have any queries about this change, please contact Mr Robert Marshall or to receive a reminder of your Parent Login details to the Portal, please contact the IT Department at School.

Director of Teaching and Learning
