Twenty-five Barbreck students took part in the Armadale District Round Robin tournament on 23 May.

Our netball girls were fantastic, reaching the semi-final and narrowly missing a place in the Grand Final. The standard of netball was outstanding and it was great to see St Catherines play so competitively against strong opposition. Keira O’Hara was dominant on court whilst Lulu Burney and Scarlett Pringle were among many busy players.

In Soccer our girls were resolute in defence conceding no goals over our three games. Unfortunately we were unable to score any goals on the full-size soccer fields and as a result did not progress to the Grand Final. Katharine Soutter was outstanding in goals keeping a clean sheet whilst Holly McGee was rock solid in defence repelling many attacks. Well done to all the students who took part and represented St Catherines so well.

Junior School Head of Physical Education

The girls who remained at School were treated to an hour of Taekwondo. Many defence and specialty skills were learned and displayed by our girls. Scarlet Westaway demonstrated high kick actions, as seen in the photo.
