Beachside Division Swimming Carnival

On Friday 9 March five Barbreck students took part in the Beachside Division Swimming Carnival.

Our 10 years relay team of Emma Peele, Natalie Wang, Mia Upton and Giselle Upton finished in a respectable second place but unfortunately only the first placed team progresses to the Regional Final.

At an individual level Emma Peele placed second and third respectively in her individual Backstroke and Breaststroke events.

Portia Gowrie was the winner in her 50m Butterfly event and progresses through to the Regional Carnival to be held on Wednesday 28 March. Well done Portia and congratulations to all five of our students on making it to Division Swimming.
