House Swimming Results and Cross Country

House Swimming

Friday 9 February saw the Years 3 to 6 Barbreck girls compete in the House Swimming Carnival.

There was great colour and spirit around the pool in a wonderful day of Swimming. Based on the results from the Carnival, St Catherine’s selects a team to compete at the Armadale District Swim Carnival.

One of the highlights was the “Blue Ribbon” 50m Freestyle race where Barbreck’s fastest six girls go nose to nose to determine the fastest Barbreck swimmer. Congratulations to Portia Gowrie on her win.

Congratulations to Langley Templeton who kicked off 2018 where they left off last year.

1st Langley Templeton 242 points

2nd Holmes Kilbride 230 points

3rd Davis 203 points

4th Beaulieu Blair 194 points

House Cross Country

A reminder that the Barbreck House Cross Country will be on us before we know it.

Friday 23 March at Kooyong Park is where it all happens.

Years 3 and 4 students run two kilometres and Years 5 and 6 run three kilometres.

Now is the time to commence Junior Joggers or at least get out and do some ‘sneaky training’ at home.

“Running is not always to the swift but to those who keep on running”
