I am delighted to introduce a new member of our Music teaching staff, Ms Olivia Cher.

Olivia comes to us with extensive classroom teaching experience including one year of teaching in Libya. Olivia is a Kodaly specialist and will teach Music (classroom) to Years 5 through 10. I look forward to her continuing to develop the skills introduced by Ms Mellissa Dods in the Junior School, all the way through to the Senior levels.

Olivia will also direct the Year 5 Band and Year 6 Band and I am pleased to announce she will also be the new director of our premier Yeasr 7 and 8 choir, Sherren Singers.

Auditions for Sherren Singers will be held before School on Monday 5 February in the Myer Studio.

She has an enviable record of success at eisteddfods and competitions and has ambitious plans for this choir in 2018.

Viva Voci will meet for the first time on Monday 5 February at lunchtime in the Myer Studio.

VCE Success

Congratulations to Lucy Glover who achieved a near perfect score for her VCE Cello Recital last year. She has accepted an offer to continue her Music studies at Melbourne University.

The Music Department has a fantastic team in 2018 and I look forward to an exciting and productive year of music making.
