Despite great catches from Emma Gregory and Sienna Opray, Holmes Kilbride ran out victors due great batting and clever field placements.

Great fielding from Milla Naylor, Coco Kudelka, Chloe Whiter and Scarlett Pringle restricted Beaulieu Blair to a total of 9.

AFL Womens Clinic

On Wednesday 1 March, Year 6 Barbreck girls were treated to an AFL women’s clinic with star players Daisy Pearce (no. 6), Melissa Hickey (18), and Lilly Mithen (14) sharing their skills and enthusiasm for the women’s game.

After a skills clinic rotation in warm conditions our girls were given the opportunity to ask the Melbourne stars any questions about the new AFL women’s league. Next term our year 6s begin their Interschool sport against neighbouring District Schools and AFL football is one of the sports played.
